XGauge question.

Featured Replies

Hi All,Sorry if this question has been addressed previously but just purchased Active sky X.very pleased thus far, however I have a "problem" with the gauge,I open this up using the views menu in FSX, & the gauge appears as though it is stuck to the outside of the "front window" of the airplane.I fly with Dreamfleet Dakota & the centre "support strut" is in front of the gauge, is there any way to "bring the gauge "window" to the "front" so to speak???.Cheers all.Steve EGCC

Hi Jim,Thanks for the info, well it did cross my mind to try that after posting but I though maybe there was a command in the settings which I had not setup correctly. Its fine in 3D Virtual mode only happens in 2D.I'm very pleased with my purchase Jim, its a great bit of software that enhances my enjoyment of FS & VATSIM using SB4 & I'd recommend it to all.Cheers. Hi Again Jim,Well I could reposition & resize the "gauge" as you suggested but its still in the "background" so to speak, cannot bring it to the front by clicking in the gauge itself.. still its no big deal really.Cheers.Steve.

JIm & All readers, have found that I can now bring the Xgauge to the front, the Dreamfleet dakota in 2d mode has what can best be described as an IFR & VFR view (when clicking on the "dash") you have to be in IFR mode to see the Xgauge "inside" the cockpit by hitting shift 5, if you then select VFR for landing/ takeoff etc the Xgauge will not display.Just thought maybe someone wouldwant to know that info?.Cheers. Steve
