SimConnect Error with ASX and FSX on Same Machine

Featured Replies

I get the SimConnect SP1 error when trying to run ASX on the same machine as FSX. I have uninstalled ASX and all of FSX SP's. I re-installed FSX SP1 and then SP2 and finally ASX. I still get the same error. Please Help! Thanks

The only thing I found in the manual was for networked configuration. I installed the FSX SDK and SDK SP1, but that did make it work. Were you talking about FSX SP1?

The sp1 he is talking about is the fsx sp1.I had the same problem I uninstalled FSX acceleration installed fsx sp1 then fsx acceleration and it works.

Thanks everyone, finally got it working. In the FSX weather menu do you have it setup to download the weather, custom or none to get ASX to take over this part of it?

ASX seems to just take over. I think it moves your fsx menu to custom. I just do all the weather edits in asx and leave the weather settings within fsx alone.

I am having the same issue, have reinstalled absolutely everything (FSX, SP1, ASX) and am still having the same problem!
