No server connection

Featured Replies

Hi Jim. The past 2 days, for some reason AS6.5 cannot connect to the server. Normally the asterisks that spread out from the "connecting to HiFi DataNet" phrase while it contacts and downloads information move so fast I can hardly see them. Since yesterday, they move at a snails pace. Eventually I get the "unable to connect...." message. I've tried forcing on your server 1 and 2, but no change.Nothing has been changed on my computer or internet connection since I last used AS about a month ago. What should I be looking for?I cant fly without AS!!Thanks,Dave P

Hi Dave,Sorry for the problem. I just checked and everything is OK from our server end.Is your Anti virus scanning everything entering? Can you browse our web site OK?Any other Internet slowdowns? Is Internet Explorer set to Work Offline? Please let us know.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/

As always, your instant replies are welcome! All my other internet applications are working well (including browsing your site). My flight computer has no active anti-virus or firewall running so I can count that out. It baffles me that nothing with the computer, router, etc has been changed since the last time I used AS. Do you think I may have to (shudder) reinstall your exceptional product? Thanks on working on this for me!Dave P

No, it is NOT checked..Dave P

A reinstall did the trick. Up and running with no problems! Thanks for all the help. Your customer service is A+.Dave P
