October 25, 200817 yr Just curious as to why when I create a scenery file and label it custom. Why is it that when I check the settings that some of the saved selections ie runway lights have gone back to the default setting?
October 25, 200817 yr Hi,What are the runways lights set to when you save your custom set?Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
October 28, 200817 yr They are set to "SET 2". I just used the runways lights as an example. Some of the other settings, but not all go to default.
October 28, 200817 yr Hi,What are you doing to save your custom set?Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
October 29, 200817 yr I go through and select my preferences in eah section and click on "save theme" ie "CUSTOM".I then use the "install theme" button.Since I am using ASX also, I enter my Flighplan and use the "install XGraphics" option. I then use the "start FSX" option in ASX.
October 30, 200817 yr Hi,OK, step 1 and 2 are correct, but then with step 3 you are overwriting your selection with Wx Influenced textures based on ASX weather data. That is why you "lose" some of your selections.Thanks!Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
October 31, 200817 yr Ok thanks Jim that makes sense, but should the weather influenced affect the landing lights selection? Thanks againMichael
October 31, 200817 yr Hi,By default, yes. But if you go to the Options/Advanced Options page you can deselect the textures you don't want installed.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
