December 23, 200223 yr Hey all!I know this really should go in the hardware forum, but I think it's more visible here. For those considering a card of this flavour.. read on....http://www.overclockers.com/tips00230/Cheers,Paulhttp://www.strontiumdog.plus.com/sbird.jpgOfficially licenced by British Airways plc for use of name and logo
December 24, 200223 yr Hmmmm; I just received my 4200 128mb card today. Its working fine so far. It doesn't look like the ones in the AMD forum though. Hopefully it is an improved model. I'll definatley be saving the link and web pages in case I need them. :(
December 24, 200223 yr Good idea Jerry. Going throught the thread (yes... all 26 pages of it!!) all affected cards don't look the same, and it's been difficult even tying the problem down to specific revisions or batches. Most users had problems after owning the card for a few months.Cheers,Paulhttp://www.strontiumdog.plus.com/sbird.jpgOfficially licenced by British Airways plc for use of name and logo
December 24, 200223 yr I can concur with this. I had this card, 64MB, and I could not get it to work. Finally replaced it with a PNY GF4 Ti 4400 and no problems. Expensive solution, but so is a brand new rig that doesn't work.
