SET PARKING BRAKE

Featured Replies

Long ago now I changed sopme cfg file to delete the `set parkingbrake` message on the screen. Can anyone remind me how I did thisand where?? The reason I am asking is that I have downloaded a newpushback panel which appears not to recognise either (.) or mychange of keyboard command for setting the brake. Perhaps bringingback the message on the lower left of the screen may achieve this.Any ideas please?YoursJohn

Ctrl . together sets the parking brake, in the default configuration. To get the brake message back, open the fs2002.cfg file, and find the following section:SYSCLOCK=0Show_Brake_Message=0<-----Changing this to 1 will once again display the annoying "Brakes" message. Be sure to use square brackets, and not the <> as one needs to do in these forums.Darrell
