Can't get enough BT

Featured Replies

Man I hate to "gush" over this aircraft but damn, this is the closest thing to a real "feeling" aircraft I have come across in a long time. (Yes, I am a real time pilot, 1000 hrs TT, 80 hours in helicopters the rest in stiff wings) Got about 45 hours in the thing now and can routinely go in and out of Catalina airport (Avalon) with no trouble. Someone posted they had a problem trimiing BT but I think perhaps they need to look at their controller settup because I had the opposite reaction, I think it is a bit too stable when trimmed..lol I'm working on a divorce because of the sounds. I have an 80 watt speaker system and think I am running it at 77.8 watts... Need new windows also.. I can't wait to see what you guys come up with for the R4D. Yikes... Mike B.

HI Mike,I especially appreciate comments like this from a 1000 hours TT pilot. I think a lot of people have become used to the default "feel" in Fs which to my mind is actually more difficult to control than the real thing due to jumpy pitch attitude, over-quick control response and over-reaction to stick inputs.Rest assured the RD4 will have the same hallmarks as the B-25 in control.Kind Regards,Rob YoungMaam Team
