April 27, 200323 yr Bill asked me to post these here but I'm finding that a little difficult so here is a pointer to my sequence of "Briefing Time" flying at Darrington Muni...http://www.fsscreenshots.com/dc/dcboard.ph...=1978&mode=fullI hope you have the patience to wait for the download and enjoy the pictures :-)Regards,Peter McLeland.
April 29, 200323 yr The screen shots were excellent. I really enjoyed them; however I have a question and I surely hope I'm not out of line in asking, but I noticed, in the shot with the VC, there was 0 RPM, no oil pres or oil temp., 0 fuel press and cyl temp. Was this a glide situation? Again I am not being critical but my curiousity got the best of me. Good Luck---Edd1

Good>Luck---Edd1Hello Edd,Yes, well I don't ever use a VC for actually flying and I had not originally taken any screenshots with the VC included. While I was assembling the pics I thought I would like to include some VC shots, especially the bomb aimers position. Now, a technique that I often use to get a screenshot sequence like this is to fly the sequence for real and then get it running on a repeating replay to take the pictures. You can't always use this technique because Instant Replay switches off all AI Traffic...but at LAGO fields the Traffic is Dynamic Scenery and keeps running. So, this was a LAGO field and I was using the Instant Replay technique and furthermore, the VC shots were an afterthought and I went back to the still running replay, some hours after I had started it, to get these extra shots. Naturally, I did not put the headphones on or I would have noticed the silence...the fact of the matter is that "Briefing Time" had run out of fuel!Thank you for pointing it out "Eagle Eyes". LOL!Regards,Peter McLeland
April 30, 200323 yr Thank you for your reply,Mr. McLeland. I was so afraid you would take offense of my questioning, I had wished I hadn't replied. It seems the older I get (70) the more inquisitive I become. Thank you again for the beautiful screenshots. Ed Workman
