December 27, 200223 yr Normally you will be repositioned by the flight planner, an option in FSUIPC.dll module prevents that. It may be downloaded here >or at flightsim.com, or directly at Pete Dowson
December 27, 200223 yr Under VFR flight it is the pilot's responsibility to navigate to the runway. If you want vectors, you will have to file an IFR flight plan. If you want the GPS to take you to the runway, what i would suggest is creating a route that will fly you down an instrument approach. Generally speaking, this won't take you directly to the runway, but in most cases, if you start at the IAF and fly the final approach course to the FAF you will be alligned with the runway. (This does not necesarilly apply to LDA or VOR-A/NDB-A approaches) The FAF is within a mile or two of the runway and under VFR conditions, should be close enough that you'll be able to take it from there.-Rob

December 27, 200223 yr Hi,to follow up on Uwe's post about Reality XP GPS, it automatically reads user waypoints either from the FS2002 flight plan file loaded in the GPS as depicted in Denis's post, or the 200000 user added waypoint in the Flight Line Avionics GPS database.Hope this helps!
December 28, 200223 yr Denis,Many thanks.JeanLuc,This sounds interestingly. Where could I find this utility or a like one.Best regards,Adam
