November 9, 200322 yr Hi GuysFirstly, thanks for the upgrade it is nice to be flying BT again.I do however have a strange problem, when flying in VC mode the cockpit surround (ie the padded strip) and some controls (eg magneto switches) will completely disappear. They reappear when scrolling left or right and then disappear again when looking straight ahead. Usually they reapear of their own accord towards the end of the flight. My system is;P4 2.0 ghtz1gb Rd ramNvidea Ti 4600Any ideas? Thanks Steve
November 9, 200322 yr Hi Steve,That's the same graphics card I'm using, so it's not a general issue. What version of Direct X and nVidia drivers are you running?Ian P.BTBT Gopher and Random Beer Crate Rotator.:-halo
November 9, 200322 yr Greetings Steve!Curiouser and curiouser! I had this issue when flying the FS2002 Briefing Time in FS2004, and lo and behold: the FS2004 patch solved it! With you it seems to be the other way around, which is far worse...I don't know is there's any relevant meaning to my own experiences, but on the other hand: it might help to pinpoint the problem.Be well!Jaap Verduijn.
November 10, 200322 yr Thanks Guys,The strange thing is that this doesn't happen all the time just from specific airports?I am using the version of Direct x that came with FS9 (Version 9 I think) and my drivers appear to be 6.13.Thanks again for your helpSteve
November 10, 200322 yr SteveIf your drivers are really 6.13 (which I doubt) then you really do need to upgrade them. Go to www.nvidia.com and download a later version. I have an Nvidia T1 4800 128mb card and I am running version 52.16, but if I look at the driver info it says 6.14.10.5216, I think thats where you are getting the info from. You need the last 4 digits to determine the driver release. I would also go to the microsoft site and get the latest version of Direct X. 9.0a I use here and install that. See of that helps. The version on the FS2004 CD is not the latest.RegardsTim http://www.spottedantelope.com/bwomack/ima...aam-sim_sig.gif
