September 24, 200421 yr Hi,nice snapshots !Do you have any idea about the use of all the antennas on top of the fuselage ? Regards, altack
September 24, 200421 yr Thanks,I have no idea, but this machine served Arkia from 1957 to 1968, and then was returned to the IAF.It was retired on 1996, but the antenna's were left on the fuselage. It might have been used to test some equipment (I find it hard to belive they did recon or intelligence missions with a C47 in the 90's, eh?)
September 24, 200421 yr I am saying this because Beechcraft B200's ARE used for special recon missions, and you can see similar antenna's on these...http://www.airliners.net/open.file/301061/L/
September 27, 200421 yr Thanks for your input !the antennas look for sure like ELINT ones !!!anyway your pictures are great.Regards, altack
