June 17, 200520 yr First off, my hats off to the MAAM-SIM team.I am the proof that it's never too late to catch on to a good thing, having just purchased and start operating your amazing DC-3. All of sudden, it's as if I finally found my "reason" for flight simming!Amazing work! There is however, one thing I could not help but notice. In my search for repaints, I have yet to find any of the paints of all those classic Canadian DC-3's. If anyone can point me to one (or many!) please do.If, to my chagrin, no such textures exist, I am willing to help out in any ways possible to make it happen (of course, except the paint job!). I can research, find pictures, go take pictures if I have to! I'll even gladly make another donation to MAAM, just for the thrill to fly a DC-3 of Trans-Canada Air Lines... or Quebecair... or Trans Air... or Canadian Pacific Airlines... or Buffalo Airways...!Imagine all those great flights in the Great White North, like this one: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3660452/ Or in Ontario, or in Quebec, or in B.C.... Please, let this Canadian simmer enjoy even more your great work!!!Regards,
June 17, 200520 yr Dear BigBryThanks for your compliments; such words are always appreciated by the team. Beats the virtual dollars we get paid, any day!Repainters are slow off the mark with Canadian paints, yes, but they will come. Have a look at the aircraft I painted up for FS2002 based on one of Jan Visser's earlier, freeware models:http://www.swiremariners.com/dc3FS8.htmlThese planes fly well enough in FS9, by the way, with the exception that their props will not show. All else is fine, to my knowledge. So give it a little time on the latest incarnation. They will come ....Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont[a href=http://www.swiremariners.com/cathayhk.html" target="_blank]http://www.swiremariners.com/newlogo.jpg[/a] _________________________ Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont VP Fleet, DC-3 Airways Team Member, MAAM-SIM
