Are there any plans to build low-poly versions of the MAAM aircraft for use with AI? I use them in AI despite the frame rate hit, but it would be nice to have more computer friendly versions for AI.

No plans, Railman. Over at DC-3 Airways most of us use default DC-3s as AI or for other players in multiplayer - as when we have twenty of us aloft, frame rates get hit pretty hard if everything in view is a 32-bit MAAM-SIM aircraft! You might try using a medium MAAM-SIM model and dumping all but the three key external textures, though, making sure also that those are DXT3; you could even reduce their size.
