IFR Panels for DC-3, RD4 and C47

Featured Replies

Hello,I really enjoyed using the IFR optional panel in FS9. I tried it in FSX with the update and can't get the electrical overhead panel and throttle quadrant simicons to display the panels. Any chance of an updated IFR panels being released ?

Hello Soak (with such a name, you should probably be flying the XC-47C!)The "IFR" panel mod for the MAAM-SIM birds is not an official release; it's something I knocked up as an unofficial extra, with hard-won permission from El Rambow. I say hard-won, because messing up his beautifully created R4D panel in the way I did (Bendix radios, fuel gauge on the Captain's side, etc.) was sure to cause severe stress in any purist's heart; but he was kind enough to recognise that the panel would be popular with many, and it has been.Owing to other priorities, I have not got around to updating this panel yet for FSX, but I shall. I have a couple of things to finish off first, and then will be putting a lot more time into development of DC-3 work for FSX. Now that the patch is out and more people seem to be shifting over to the new sim, we have much to do.So bear with me, you'll have your panel presently. You're not the first to ask, and thank you for your kind words.MarkMark "Dark Moment" BeaumontVP Fleet, DC-3 AirwaysTeam Member, MAAM-SIM[a href=http://www.swiremariners.com/cx.html" target="_blank]http://www.paxship.com/avsimlogo.jpg[/a]
