FSX DC-3 Cabin views

Featured Replies

How can I get cabin views with all the versions of the DC-3. In the pictures I saw nice cabin veiws of the military and civilian versions of the DC-3. Please help.Dave

Hi DaveTo 'walk back' into the cabin of any of the MAAM-SIM aircraft, it is necessary to have an add-on program that enables this.In FS2004, the best of these IMHO is Active Camera, which is payware. There is a freeware rival available from Flight1, called F1View, available within their site.Active Camera has yet to be updated for FSX. I do not know myself whether F1View works in FSX, haven't had time to try it yet. I did download a freeware gizmo the other day which is supposed to do something similar in FSX, but have yet to set it up. Sorry to be so useless, I'm struggling with a personal operating system crash just now and am having to set all programs up again from scratch. It's strange that MS don't give us the walkback by default, I must say. What's more, in FSX they have taken away our glorious internal 2D views from the cockpit. This is a major faux pas by the MS team in the view of many people I fly with; VCs that are fully flyable/clickable in FSX are very few, and even then can be hard to use because of head latency, lack of fluidity, etc; many simmers still prefer the 2D cockpit for serious navigation in IFR conditions. So to lose the 2D views is a real bummer. Ah well. Hope the above explains things a little, in any case.Cheers,MarkMark "Dark Moment" BeaumontVP Fleet, DC-3 AirwaysTeam Member, MAAM-SIM[a href=http://www.swiremariners.com/cx.html" target="_blank]http://www.paxship.com/avsimlogo.jpg[/a]
