Real World Head-set adapter

I purchased an adapter for real world head-sets about a year ago.I noticed when I bought the item that many complained of the lack of reliability. Alas, this issue seems to have struck me. Two perfectly good head-sets and the mic does not work on either when I plug it in the adapter.Does anyone, by any chance, know of the manufacturer and their contact info of this item...I seem to have disposed of it unfortunately.Thanks all.
