Radeon 9800 Pro and lost lighting/effects in FS9

I have just installed a Radeon 9800 Pro 256mB Sapphire card. Most views seem a clearer than my old GeForce3 but now I have a problem1) I cannot see any landing lights or strobes on my aircraft which had them modelled before. I can see lighting effects reflected on the outside of the fuselage/ wings etc.2) The smoke effect looks like a flat ribbon.Any advice would be welcome.PaulDell Precision 530 1.7Ghz Zeon1Gb RamRadeon 9800 Pro 256mB SapphireWindows XP professional

Following my post on this matter I have noticed that the strobes flash and the landing lights are working and can be seen, but only when viewed from the control tower. In all other views they cannot be seen.Paul

Moderator will you please remove this topic as a full install of FS2004 resolved all problems.Paul
