April 3, 200422 yr In the constant never-ending search for a little extra performance , I thought I would give the Auto-overclock option in the last couple of NVidia drivers a chance.I'm using the 56.64 ( as said elsewhere I didn't find the new 56.72 so good).OK ,having selected "auto -overclock" and let the software do it's job , I ran FS9 - the result? well there may have been a slight improvement but nothing to shout about. However, my question is this. when you select auto-overclock , the sliders on the NVidia settings show Zero so you don't in fact know what it has set the system to - is there any way of finding out?If , for instance you knew that it had upped things by 10% on auto , you might feel then perhaps that you could safely run it ,set by yourself , at +5% on a permanent basis.Dave
April 3, 200422 yr Have you tried using the hardware monitor in rivatuner?http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/69814.jpgKurt M
April 3, 200422 yr Thanks for the suggestion - I have downloaded and installed Rivatuner - but how do you get the hardware monitor to operate and show as in your screenshot?BTW - the video card is a Ti4200/128MB and the OS is WinXP SP1.Dave
April 3, 200422 yr From the rivatuner main page, click on the customize arrow under the target adapter section, you should see a hardware monitor setting to the far right.Kurt M
