Blury texture and fuzzy VC

Featured Replies

Hello,I currently operating an AMD 2800+ 512mb ram sapphire radeon 9800 pro 4.5 cat.I've tried using the 3.7 , 4.3 , 4.4 and finally the 4.5 but the following problems would go away so i thought you might be able to assist me.So, the problems are1)In VC mode the gagues (radio bar , HSI , EICAS) look fuzzy from the pilots point of view but if i zoom they look ok.What could be the cause of the problem and how can i fix it ?2)This topic has been discussed on many threads but i thought i'd ask it here again Even though i set my r9800's AF to X16 (quality) and AA to X4 i still spot blury texture.Lets say that in a 10 miles radius i see the groud texture perfectlyBut 20 miles ahead i can eaisly spot blury texture. What can i change do repair in order to fix it ?Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure about anything else, but I've noticed the blurry textures in the distance happen because your MIP mapping is set too low. In the sim I can't fly without mip mapping slider all the way to 8. No more blurries, but it definately slows down the game more.I'd recommend getting a program like riva tuner, and making sure the mip mapping in the graphics cards settings is set to default, 0, and then the in-game slider set to 8, and that should clear up the blurryness in your VC and on land
