June 9, 200421 yr just wondering how many if anyone, is running FS2004 at 800x600? if i run at 1024 i have to back off on the sliders and cloud quaility and online flying can still be jerky at times but at 800x600 with AA turned on and sliders almost maxed out, which is default settings, everything runs fine, even downloaded weather is smooth. i meant real world weather above instead of online flying. the prob with 800x600 is the screen shrinks a bit. like it's not quite full screen, the vertical edges along the sides are blackened out about half an inch. other than that it's ok. haven't decided which way i want to go with this yet but am open to suggestions. i'll be thinking about this all day at work today. thanks, william
June 9, 200421 yr Greetings William!"(...) the prob with 800x600 is the screen shrinks a bit (...)"You can solve that very easily. Many monitors require some resetting for the different resolutions. Usually you can do it with buttons underneath the screen, or with the software. Try dig out you monitors manual (I know, I know... I can never find those things either - grin!), and look for instructions on the matter. You'll have it solved in no time at all!Be well!Jaap Verduijn.
