June 18, 200421 yr HiI just completed a cockpit project for a university. For the FS part a 3.0Ghz is running the show. Fitted with the ATI Radeon 9800XT 256mb (personally I use NVIDIA, but I am not religious) and 1GB of ram. This is all great, all sliders are at max, and I get 28+ FPS.BUT the anisotropic filter seems not present, even though both FSAA and AF sliders are set to max in the ATI control panel. It looks like cr*p !!Now, don't get me wrong but when I slide the FSAA and AF to the max with the FX5950 the shivering dissapears completely, but the Radeon just flickers, shivers etc. all over the place. Especially in areas with many trees (Georender and so on).I am using the lates drivers from ATI, and the only thing I changed is the FSAA and the AF.Am I missing something here? Or can the Radeon just not handle AF very well? Any ideas?RegardsPeter Skotte
June 18, 200421 yr I get exactly what you are speaking about with the Cat 4.6 drivers. I went back to the Cat 4.3 drivers and all is cured.Chuck
