June 20, 200421 yr I have been struggling with my CH Products Pedals. The problem is that with the Pedals centered, I look at FSUIPCs Joystick Tab under Rudder with feet off dead center I am getting values of 490 on the in and out. This is causing some slight careening when taxing. When looking at this setting if I apply slight right rudder, both numbers will fall back to zero.I am starting to lean towards it being a hardware problem with the pedals, but I would like to know if anyone else has faced this problem. And can it be corrected via calibration? Or maybe via FSUIPCs Joystick (need to know how.) I have installed and uninstalled the drivers several times, and the problem still exists. Also, there is much debate on whether to use the Native XP drivers for the Yoke and Pedals, or install the CH's Control Manager drivers? What is the Advantage / Disadvantage? Is it a hardware or Driver Calibration issue? Thanks!Barry
June 20, 200421 yr There's been much written on this in this forum if you search a bit, Barry. Shouldn't think it's your hardware, CH are very reliable.I gave up on trying to calibrate with FSUIPC long ago. Could never get it right, and it seems pointless as they work just fine using regular FS settings. So my own advice for what it's worth would be to RESET all FSUIPC pedal settings i.e. cancel them, and just calibrate within the sim.The only reason I use CH Control Manager at all is to give myself a button for PTT on my yoke. All other settings and calibration of yoke, pedals and stick I do in FS.Works just fine.Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/newlogo.jpg _________________________ Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont VP Fleet, DC-3 Airways Team Member, MAAM-SIM
June 20, 200421 yr Are you talking about calibrating with the Joystick Calibration in Windows XP? Or with Control Manager? Please advise...Barry
