Las Vegas Scenery - Where is It????

Featured Replies

Once upon a time, there was a very detailed scenery file in the library containing all the latest hotels and sites around Las Vegas. It appears that the file is missing now. Does anyone know where I can get the latest and greatest of Vegas??Thanks!Keith

I downloaded that scenery upgrade (I think it was called veags2002). The scenery is a MAJOR framerate killer! I have an Athlon 2200+, 1024MB of RAM, and and a GF4 Ti4600, and that stuff drew it down to about 10 fps!! Sure, it was beautiful, but not worth the after-effects. I fly alot of my new downloads out of there (just for kicks), and it was not worth the trade-off.Scott

By the way, here is a pic of the new BAe 146-200, with the default Las Vegas scenery in place again. All my detail sliders are at max, with a 200MB buffer level. I'm quite happy with the performance (30-36 fps, higher when flying at night).Scott
