A weekly driver/bios listing

Featured Replies

Hi everybody, maybe some of you will like this (German) homepage with a weekly bios/driver update listing? If you think it's a nice overview, please let me know and I could try to make bumping it, a frequent habbit? Here's this week's link: http://www.heise.de/newsticker/meldung/53925Not much German knowledge is required. And some 'Treiberdownload' links will take you to the German download pages! So, achtung! 'Treiber' means 'driver' 'vom' means 'dated' (more or less) Hope you like it! Good luck and kind regards Jaap PS: Case somebody knows a simular site in English... Jawohl! Bitte!

Hi JaapAnother great spot for drivers is http://drivers.softpedia.com/ which is in English.

Hi Mike, thanks for the reply. Great link, I bookmarked it immediately. What I like about the 'heise' page, is the list of all drivers which appeared during the week. Something to flip through easily. A one click solution. Another thought I had, was to place this in the general FS forum as it might reach more people? However, Ken might just boot it back to where it belongs? Hehe. Here's the bios/dll page for this weekend: http://www.heise.de/newsticker/meldung/54116Cheers, good luck and kind regards Jaap

Hi JaapThanks for the link. If my German was as good as your English the site would be very useful. In the meantime I had best stick with English sites. I agree that a sticky post containing links to relevant Bios/Driver update sites (say in different languages) in an appropriate forum would be very uesful.PS Looking at your other post regarding your PC rebuild, It looks like we are both in the same position. I am also rebuilding my PC after the xmas break and going with the AMD64 3500 on a Socket 939 motherboard (probably Asus A8V). Should be interesting. However I am also interested in Par's observations on the Shuttle PC.

Hi Mike, my German..! Hehe. It's not bad and I can order a beverage, but... Again (and sorry if I'm repetitive), the page itself is actually quite easy to use. Many of the 'Treiberseiten' links are NOT in Deutsch. In case you get linked to a German page (i.e. the Asus and MSI links will take you to Teutonic ones), it's usually easy to swap lingos at the top. I'll see whether I can work out something easy next weekend. Thanks for your continued support! Do you have a proposal or an idea for an appropriate forum? Any idea is mucho welcome. >>PS Looking at your other post regarding your PC rebuild, It looks like we are both in the same position.
