Stretch VC over 2 monitors?

Featured Replies

I have a dual monitor set up, and a floor mounted console holding my throttle and GoFlight stuff. I had an idea to make a two place sim, with a seat on either side of the console and a montor for each 'pilot'.I'm sure I saw a post about 'stretching' the window of FS to match the area of two monitors. I did a search but couldn't find it.My idea is to stretch the VC over two monitors, showing the panel in it's entirety. The left seater would see the left portion of the panel, and the right seater the right. I have a GeForce 5900. Does anyone know if this is possible, and of so how? Thanks for any help,Gareth Evans

I know for sure that this is somehow possible. I have the same video card (5900 XT). Maybe you don't even need to stretch, why not single out the copilots view (with the help of Active Camera, a must have when you are into 'views')unlock that and drag to the second monitor. If that monitor is more or less of the same size the overall picture could be quite convincing. But you should realize that only one of the two views is active at a certain moment (by clicking the mouse on it. I will try it myself when I am back home.Herrie
