Jet Liner vs. Cirrus with jet style yoke

Featured Replies

I am going to buy a new yoke and was looking for advise on which one to get. I have pretty much decided to go with PFC, but I can not decide if I want the desk top Cirrus with the jet style yoke, or the Jet liner yoke. I did get to try out a Jet liner yoke at the Airlifter Tanker Assocition convention this year at Dallas. It was in a Boeing simulator demonstration, but they had a piston at the bottom that I don't see in any of the pictures on PFC web site. This was a push/pull resistance type thing that made the yoke stiff to pull, felt like the real deal. But I digress, does any one have a suggestion on which to buy? Thanks in advance.

Hi,I purchased PFC's Jetliner flight yoke and it is by-far the best flight yoke I've ever owned. I have the USB model and from time to time I have to remove the USB plug from the bottom of the yoke and plug it back in so Windows XP Pro sees the yoke, other than that, its great. Not sure why Windows XP Pro sometimes does not see the yoke after a boot up.Mine does not have a piston on the bottom, they may have added this post factory. If room is not a factor, I would get the floor stand flight yoke. When I fly, I slide it in front of my monitor, when I'm done I slide it out of the way and I can use my computer for other things. If you do purchase PFC's Jetliner Flight Yoke, make sure you get it from PFC, they have a LIFETIME warranty. Not sure if other companies give this type of warranty.Hope this helpsMike

Thanks for the advice Mike!
