April 16, 200521 yr Hello fellow simmers!I've always had this problem I'm going to explain now, I was recommended trying to ask some of you guru's here about it.Whenever I fly over an ocean I always get blurry textures at long distance (near the horizon). This problem appears when there is great visibility and high flying. I don't really understand why I get this since many users (www.flightsim.no) with mid-end systems don't have it.Some pictures of described problem are enclosed..Sight distance 130 mileshttp://home.no/justme/wx/1.jpghttp://home.no/justme/wx/2.jpgSight distance 60 mileshttp://home.no/justme/wx/3.jpghttp://home.no/justme/wx/4.jpgSight distance 150 miles with clear weather. April 16, 200521 yr Hi Rune,I would suggest that you try turning things down and I would do so in this order:o First reduce you Mip mapping quality to 4.o If that doesn't do it then reduce your sight distance to 60 - 80 Nm.o Finally, if all else fails, reduce Water effects.Try it after you make each change and I'll bet that at some point, you'll find that it looks better. I don't see anything alarming in the config file settings. R-
