Ati Radeon X850 XT PE (PCI Express)- Optimal Settings?

Featured Replies

Surely someone besides me has been using the subject graphics card. Any suggestions for optimal card settings using Catalyst? Thanks,OdaatP4 3.2GHz, 1Gig DDR, x850xt pe 256, sata hd

From my sig..."Omega 2.6.25a 4xAA 16xAF Forced, Text. Pref and Mipmap Detail= High Quality"Additionally, I have the following set in the Radlinker Control Panel:TruForm: Always OFFWait for Vertical Sync: Always on (do not turn this off... you have a card that will easily deliver the goods with VS ON. Turning it off could compromise some the the card/driver attributes such as Triple Buffering and A.I.).Smart Shader: No Effect (for this game)A.I.: NormalDisable VPU Recover and uncheck everything on the "Options" page (YMMV with this page depending upon what type of monitor you have).Setting up the video card is more than anything else a matter of personal preference. Set it to gain the visuals and performance you wish.Hope this helps,Greg

I'm running the latest omega drivers and can't seem to get rid of the textures waving at me. I have tried 1600x1200 res and below but to not avail. I can't run 2x AA because I get blocky textures, and 4 or 6 don't make a difference in terms of getting rid of the waves. Anybody???
