Hello,ive seen ads on the internet about being able to upgrade to windows XP 64 bit for free if you've purchased regular XP in certain dates. if i d/l and install the trail 64-bit version will i have the chance to activiate it for free from there?? im just worried of everything not working properly and having to take it back off.How did you all upgrade?Stephen

Nope you have to go the MS site and apply to get the free upgrade, the downside though, it disables your cd key for 32BIT windows so if it doesn't work you cannot reinstall 32 bit windows. I would try the trail version first and see how it works then decide what you want to do.
