I have a question for those of you who installed windows xp 64-bit from the ISO file given on the microsoft website...how did you do it?? everytime i put the cd that i burned the image to and restart my pc during the boot sequence my PC just goes nuts and wont start up..and a symbol "mhz?" shows up...any ideas?Stephen

You have to use a program like Nero that can burn .iso files. You cannot just put the file on the disc and have it work.

no i burned the image to the disk using alchol 120% its just like nero..have u used nero and had it work?

just wanted to say everything works and heads up for anyone who gets the file..make sure the file fully downloads..thats what my problem was..thanksStephen

Hi Stephen, good news. It might be of concern in your case, but another tip is to burn the image at the lowest possible speed. Good luck and kind regards Jaap
