Hi there,Lately, I have a very strange problem with my PC.My motherboard is an MSI NEO2 Platinum with the nVidia nForce3Ultra chipset, accomodating an AMD64 3200+ Venice and until a few hours ago, an ASUS VGA with the ATI Radeon 9600XT/128Mb.During the last 2 or 3 weeks (I have this configuration for about 2months now, you will remember the issues I had with the Gigabyte Mobo some time ago) the PC refuces to start or even boot. The MSI check LEDs indicate "VGA BIOS Initilization failure".Now... What's strange about it? If at this point I close the power and leave the PC alone and I try to start it in 1...2...3 hrs later or even the next day, it may startup normally. I repeat without doing anything to it.If I remove the ATI and put in another VGA (nVidia for example), it will start up normally.I suspect two things.a. The VGA is faulty or about to give up.b. There is a serious compatibility problem between the chipset and the VGA.c. nVidia chipset only works with nVidia VGAs!!! (naahhh... but, who knows?!)I tried the VGA on 2 other different PCs without a problem, that's why the title...Can it really be "c" above?!?!I have now removed the ATI and gone back to my ancient nVidia Ti4200so that I can work. But it really troubles me.Any comments? Ideas?George DorkofikisAthens, Greecehttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/811520/1704.png
