Nvidia drivers US English vs International

Featured Replies

Anyone know the difference between the US English and international versions of the Nvidia Forceware drivers? I live in Bangkok and purchased XP home here, but the box doesn't indicate it is a Thai edition. Since I work in English, I want that to be the default language, but many of the newer games have Thai editions with the menus in Thai, so I need to be able to read them. My question is whether I have a choice in the version I use or if one "right" and the other "wrong"? Strangely, I can't find any information on the difference between the two versions apart from the fact that the international edition supports 29 languages. I read a posting on one forum of a user getting the wrong langauge after installing the international version and the reply explaining how to get back English as the default was not at all clear. That's why I'm a bit leery.ThanksTerry

Correct. it's only the language versions that are additional in the International version. EVERYTHING else is the same. Purely saves the hassle and disk space of having useless files on the computer.Note: You will not get WHQL certification on English-only drivers, but they are the same as the formally WHQL-certified ones.Hope this helps.Allcott

Thanks much. That should do it.Regards,Terry

US English? I thought there was only English and those that couldn't spell properly! :-hah :-lol Victor
