December 8, 200520 yr Wich is best to use:OpenGl or Direct3D settings???Any ideo of how to get rid of the fram rate on the upper RIGHT side of FS..???Check screenshot...I've a video card ATI SAPPHIRE RADEON 9600 256Mb...Thanx....
December 8, 200520 yr FS9 only uses Direct3D (since FS is a Microsoft product and Microsoft produced DirectX), so for FS, the OpenGL settings in ATI Tray Tools will make no difference. The option to remove the FPS display:1. First go to "Tools & Options" ... 2. "OSD" ( On screen Display) 3. "enable on screen display"4. choose where you want it displayed; Ex: Top left corner5. Tick "hide" under where it says "FPS Meter"
December 8, 200520 yr Thanx for your help...!!!!Can u answer also to the new post I just added?Wich are the best ATI drivers...the NGO or the OMEGA..???Thanx...PAco
December 9, 200520 yr I use the Omega drivers, and I have found them very stable on my (admittedly old) Radeon 9600 Pro 128Mb. I benchmarked both the ATI and the Omega drivers with 3DMark2003 and found the Omegas were around 10% faster. I'm not sure that percentage is reflected in FS2004 (since it depends more on CPU power than 3DMark 2003 does), but I've had no complaints.
