closing ports?... ports to close?

Hi guysI bought a new Maxtor 40Gig 7,200rpm :-) and installed Windows 2000 Pro.I ran a port scan and I have:135139445OPENI know Port 139 is a dangerous port and it needs to be closed, i don't like running software firewalls, hmm....Help?Please

Shane,I know you do not like firewalls, though I use outpost, makes ports invisible to the outside. I ran the shields up program :http://grc.com/intro.htm my machine passes all its tests.Matt
