Anti Aliasing Problems

Featured Replies

I'm really having a hard time making anti-aliasing work, so far it doesn't. I run FS2002 on this system, with a Radeon 9200 series graphics card. I have checked, this card is capable of aa, and so is fs2002. I've checked every setting I can find and all my settings seem to be correct. Is there a known issue with anti-aliasing and fs2002, does anyone know how to correct this, or am I just s.o.l?Thanks for the help.

You don't explain the full symptoms. Does AA just not happen, or is it corrupting your display? It's best to enable FSAA in on your graphics card driver, and not within FS9.I have a 9600 Pro, which does a good job of 4x FSAA at 1024x768.Tried the latest Catalyst drivers? or the Omega drivers? I personally use the Omega ones (www.omegadrivers.net/ati.php). I'm using 2.6.75a but will download & try the latest, 2.6.87, now that I've noticed they're out :)

No the anti aliasing just doesn't occur. From what I can tell the anti aliasing is always on in the graphics card. (I can't find a setting panel for it at least). Will look up new drivers.

Okay, it is working now. It required an updated driver and careful tweaks of the AA settings, because my video card can not run most modes. However, when it does run, it's a world of difference. Thanks for the help.
