Nasty crunching noise - flat blue screen....how can I track this down?

Last night, and again today, I had a crash like I've never seen. There was a bit of a scrunch noise in the speakers, then the screen went blue, and sound started looping. This feels like a hardware issue. Probably the graphics card - seeing as it is the most expensive thing in the box, that stands to reason!How can I track down the culprit? Is there some kind of log? Also, this happened after upgrading to the version 3 of the Dreamfleet A36 - just in case anyone has seen a correlation here.
