December 22, 200520 yr 1) The throttle on the joystick does not operate at the full range. Basically, it's at a 10% to 90% range. I've calibrated it, tried various sensetivities and dead-zones and still can not expand the range to 0%-100%. Yes, the F1 and F4 keys work okay but I would like to get the proper function on th JS. Is there a aircraft.cfg edit to take care of this?2) I've notice with the various aircraft that the forcefeedback levels can vary. One A/C they are perfect, another they barely exist and yet another it practically breaks your wrist. Agian, an aircraft.cfg edit? Thanks in advance.
December 24, 200520 yr Answer to your 2nd question, In the Aircraft.CFG, theres a section called Force Feedback Section(forcefeedback)< these are Square brackets in the CFG.gear_bump_nose_magnitude=3000 ; 0 - 10000gear_bump_nose_direction=18000 ; 0 - 35999 degreesgear_bump_nose_duration=250000 ; in microsecondsgear_bump_left_magnitude=2700 ; 0 - 10000gear_bump_left_direction=35500 ; 0 - 35999 degreesgear_bump_left_duration=250000 ; in microsecondsgear_bump_right_magnitude=2700 ; 0 - 10000gear_bump_right_direction=00500 ; 0 - 35999 degreesgear_bump_right_duration=250000 ; in microsecondsground_bumps_magnitude1=1300 ; 0 - 10000ground_bumps_angle1=08900 ; 0 - 35999 degreesground_bumps_intercept1=3.0ground_bumps_slope1=0.20ground_bumps_magnitude2=200 ; 0 - 10000ground_bumps_angle2=09100 ; 0 - 35999 degreesground_bumps_intercept2=1.075ground_bumps_slope2=0.035crash_magnitude1=10000 ; 0 - 10000crash_direction1=01000 ; 0 - 35999 degreescrash_magnitude2=10000 ; 0 - 10000crash_direction2=9000 ; 0 - 35999 degreescrash_period2=75000 ; in microsecondsThe aircraft that feels like its going to break your wrist probably does not have a Forcefeedback section. There used to be a program called FF utility for fs 2002, which would scan all your aircraft and then modify the aircraft.cfg file for you, but I don't know if it works for fs.9, you could try to do a search in the file liabrary.. But what I usually do is just copy the FF section from an aircraft that I like the settings on and copy it to the one I want..Hopes this helps... HAKU
