I am considering an upgrade to get better performance from my PC and FS9.Currently I am running an Athlon 2500 with a Sapphire Radeon 9600 with 128mgs on a MSI 6380E MBO and 1gb RAM se to DD......What would you reccomend I do and any product reccomendations would be appreciated.

Well the cpu or video card will give you a shot of better performance but I would have to suggest going with a better video card because the Athlons are socket A cpus and they are pretty much at their limit unless you tend on overclocking the cost you would pay for another cpu in the socket A family wont give you much of a benefit. A video card would give you a better performance boost and at a nomial cost. I posted in another post that a 6600gt from Nvidia should fit that bill nicely, its what I use in my current rig just pci-e slot instead of agp, but the performance is really good and it can be had for well under $200...about $150 for the 128 meg version you can go with a 256 meg version if it fits your budget but the difference will be on how high or detailed you like your textures in the game.hope i shed some light for youPaul
