Problems with FS98

Now I know its old, but FS2004 wont run alot of the add ons I bought for FS98 back in the day. I decided to get out my old disk and install it, but for some reason it lags really bad, while FS2004 runs fairly well on medium High. And by lag I mean fraps is recording my FSB at 10-12.My System Specs areWindows XP Pro SP2Pentium III 1000mhz384mb SD-ram PC 133Radeon 7000 DDR PCI 64mb80GB Maxtor Diamon MaxNow another question is, I used to run the game at 1024x768x16 but now it only lets me run at 1024x768x8, is there a way around this problem, or is my system just to new?
