Hi all, I'm using the 41.80 drivers with WinXp because they are Dx9 compatible. Does anyone know if the 42.01 drivers are also Dx9 compatible? Also, what exactly do they mean when they say these drivers are Dx9 compatible?Thanx, dek

Yes they are. DX9 compatible means that certain driver parameters are specifically set to work with features of DX9 - vertex and pixel shaders for example. In contrast `DX9 compliant` means that the drivers will (should) work with DX9, but dont take advantage of the newer features. However, as there no games or software using DX9, its a moot point at the moment. FS2002 (or any other sim, including CFS3) does NOT take advantage of any features of DX9 so its pointless for a simmer. It might be a good idea to keep the drivers and DirectX version in parity however. Just to avoid possible conflicts later.Chas
