FSX Demo at AVSIM conference

Featured Replies

When I was at the AVSIM conference I saw a demo of FSX and it looked very impressive. No stutters and the it looked like most of the bells and whistles were turned on. I was wondering if anyone who attended the conference knew what type of hardware FSX was running on and what the scenery settings were set to.

I was worried this question would surface one day... :-) The answer, and psssst, please don't tell anyone, it's a multi-multi-multi-core' which fools FSX into beleiveing there's only one CPU! A top, top secret NASA/NSA/Boeing/CIA/Avsim development being readied for release 04.01.2007. :-) Sorry, I just couldn't resist! :-) AFAIK, it was a dual Xeon something with heaps of RAM. Kind regards Jaap
