Sorry if this doesn't sit in this forum exactly.I've heard people mention programs that will close all unused processes to free up CPU cycles whilst running FSX, FS9 etc. Can anyone recomend any good freeware versions and do they make any difference at all, small or otherwise?Regards

The best - the very best - for FS is Ken Salter's FS Autostart - its in the library.This gives you the option to have the unwanted processes closed, then an auto-start of FSX, then when you close FSX it automatically re-starts the processes, without a reboot.search on FS autostart for a whole heap more info.Allcott
