New user question about weather.

Featured Replies

Though I've been using FS for a long time (since 5.1), I've only recently started using FS2002 (despite having owned it since it was first released). So I've got a lot of "new user" type questions. This one concerns weather. I've been downloading the default "real weather." When I look at the details the winds slider is at zero. But I definitely have winds in the simulation (which I can confirm by the Shift-Z readouts). Why doesn't the weather dialog report accurately report the local weather winds?-Basil

hi basilnot sure if the weather program is all that in FS2002,i use a program called FSmeteo, its payware but it downloads the weather for the part of the world that your in and then loads it into FS2002.coupled with FSskyworld se(freeware) it can be very realistic. best wishes steve
