ATI 1500 card

Featured Replies

Hi All,OK. I have upgraded to a HP Dual Core E6400 multimedia system, with ATI 1500 card on board.I was using a HP 2.4, and really had no probs with display on the Nvidia 5500. Needless to say I was 'realistic' in my settings, but still very flyable. Now I have brilliant frame rates, with sliders pretty far to the right in scenery density and complexity. Total animation of jetways, traffic around airports, including O'Hare. Yet, seems to be a problem in loading saved flight where Chicago section is reported as missing. Its not! However, I am now getting 'flashed at!'Whenever I click on any autopilot button in Airbus 321, say to change altitude/speed/course, the display outside aircraft flashes white for about a second then is fine!I have downloaded latest driver for ATI.Now somewhere in my long past I recall having a ATI 64 on an old P2, and seem to recall white flashes!Any ideas on settings for ATI,or pointers to 'best' idea of settings.Filters can be on at any level, but asitropic (?) makes night flying very harsh graphic rendition, with an over sharp look to outside world.Any help greatly appreciated.Happy New Year!
