January 11, 200323 yr Usually, the afcad files I install, are not on the original name of the airport, so I need to change all my AI traffic to the new ICAO.I want to know how can I backup the original fs2002 airport afcad, so I would install the airport on the original ICAO and will have option to restore the default. Thanks
January 12, 200323 yr I assume you are using an earlier version of AFCAD, because as of version 1.31 AFCAD has a backup/restore feature built in. The current version is 1.32: do an extended search on the author for "Lee Swordy" or specifically on the filename for "afcad132.zip".You will find the catalog/delete/restore function on the file dropdown menu. It shows you which airports have been modified and allows you to restore individual airports to original fs2002 conditions or delete airports that weren't part of the original fs2k2 installation. You'll find this feature documented in Chapter 11. "Deleting and Restoring Airports" of the AFCAD readme.htm.Alternatively, you could of course export the original airport manually with AFCAD before installing any modifications and keep the exported airport text files in a safe place for later restore.Hope this helps, Peter
