May 19, 200719 yr Hi,I've had my X52 Pro since February and its always worked fine. As I recall I did even have any problems installing the drivers the first time after I purchased it.I've not used it for a few weeks and when I plugged it in Windows Vista stated that the drivers weren't installed. So I downloaded the Vista 32 bit drivers Saitek_X52Pro_Flight_Controller_3000_107_32.exe and tried to install it. When I do so I get to the the message from 'Saitek Driver Update Wizard: Driver setup - Please plug in the controllers you want to update' but 'Next >' is greyed out. I tried plugging the X52 Pro into different USB ports but it made no difference. I managed to install the drivers manually by using the files that had been copied to C:WindowstempSaitekSaitek_X52Pro_Flight_Contro ller_32_Drivers000000030762The problem I have is that the backlight of the MFD LCD display is off and just displays 'Saitek X52 Pro Flight Control System'. All the LEDS of the buttons are off and the indicator LEDs on the throttle are all off. Normally they are all on when the X52 Pro is plugged in. Even before Windows has finished booting normally if my memory serves me correctly.'Saitek X52 Pro Flight Controller' appears in Game Controllers in Control Panel. But in Properties->MFD the brightness slider is maximum. I cannot make any changes that will get the throttle control unit functioning as it should. Both the throttle and joystick work as normal apart from this in FSX so I'm wondering if someone could you please explain how I can resolve this? Many thanks for your help!
