Hi - I've just bought a Macbook Pro 17" and have XP installed. I'm really pleased with how this machine can run FSX, but I'm curious if an upgrade to Vista will improve performance ? I know that Vista is built for DirectX10, and my graphics card is fully DirectX 10 compliant (shader model 4), so will a move to Vista reap me any benefits ? I'm thinking that maybe DX10 can offload some of the autogen scenery CPU load on to the GPU instead ?Can anyone give me any advice ? The only compelling reason I have to spend money upgrading to Vista at the moment is better FSX performance...Thanks in advance.
