CH Yoke Configuration Recommendations

Featured Replies

Hey all,I am not sure this is the right forum, but searching for 'yoke' gives no results, and it is a hardwareish question.I was wondering if I could get some recommendations on what to map to which buttons and switches on the CH Flight Yoke, as I am not a pilot; in fact I haven't been in a civilian cockpit. Thanks!

I don't have my config in front of me, but I can give you the general idea. Also, I wouldn't call my configuration a "recommendation" because I think you really need to work it out yourself over the course of 10 or so flights. Here's a starting point for you though:Left trigger button: shiftRight trigger button: open/close ATCTop left button: Center TrackIR/shift: change view groupBottom left button: Lock TrackIR/shift: change view in groupLeft rocker: Elevetor Trim/shift: FlapsRight rocker: Landing gear toggle and parking break.Base 1 rocker: F1 F2 to enable and disable reverse thrustersBase 2 rocker: Up is disengage autopilot (I don't remember the rest)Throttles: Throttle/Prop/MixtureI have a rudder, so I don't assign any of those controls to my Yoke. I know I'm missing a lot of buttons here, but those are the ones I use the most and can remember. I hope that helps.Steve Gravley
