Hi,I haven't used fs in a couple of years due to a slow system. I own fs9, and am considering fsx.I've read a bunch of the hardware stuff, and my head is a bit overloaded with all of it.I'm currently building a new system, but the motive here is work, not gaming (I do 3d visualization stuff, so its not just word and excel).I'm wondering if anyone has thoughts on whether fsx will run acceptably on this machine:Win XP680i sli motherboard500gb sata3 hd4gb ddr2 ramGeForce 8500 GT / 512MB DDR2 (just 1, not 2)Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.40GHzThanks for any thoughts or advise

Win XP ...so do you really need 4GB RAM? or are you planning on upgrading to 64-bit Vista? Do you really need an SLi Motherboard if you're only planning on running 1 graphics card? You may be better off with a P35 or X38 board.The 8500GT is quite low bandwidth card.
