QT XP browser crash w/8800 fix

Featured Replies

All,Not sure if this was posted here before or not, but if not...If you have an 8800 series video card, you're running XP, and you can't view any QT movies ((for instance, movie trailers @ Apple etc.) because *any* browser (IE, Firefox, Netscape) fails with a quicktimeh264 error here's how to fix it: Open QT Preferences|Advanced and select Safe mode. This isn't a problem with Vista. Thanks to Andrew White on the Apple fora for the good heads up with this.jb[a href=http://exmixer.com/]Windows utility links/FS9/FSX stuff[/a]Falcon Northwest Mach VIntel C2D Extreme X6800EVGA 680i4 GB Corsair Twin2Xx2048-8500C5BFG 8800GTXDual-boot XPPro/Vista Ult.
